About Us
Regulator is built by a team obsessed with closing the gap between digital obsession and the realities of brick-and-mortar retail. We believe precision trade marketing is the key to making the sale stick — delivering clarity, speed, and execution exactly where it matters most.
Jamie Calon
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Regulator
Jamie Calon is the co-founder and CEO of Regulator. A former professional cyclist and co-inventor of the Virtual Pivot Point (VPP) suspension system, he helped launch the technology that spawned the modern mountain bike category. VPP has driven approximately $3 billion in global bike sales and, three decades later, is still considered the gold standard of suspension design. Jamie has built his career at the intersection of performance, innovation, and execution. His experience spans every side of the retail and brand ecosystem — from retail manager and store owner to factory rep for Oakley and sponsored athlete. This lived experience, combined with his track record in brand marketing at 54blue, gave Jamie the foresight to build Regulator and position it as the definitive trade marketing operations platform. Today, he drives the company’s vision, evangelizing a future where trade marketing is elevated with the same precision as digital, ensuring the last three yards get covered, the sale sticks, and the smile happens.

Board of Directors
Nick Woodhouse
Board Director, Regulator
Nick Woodhouse, a partner and the driving force behind one of the greatest growth stories in modern brand management. As President and Chief Marketing Officer of Authentic Brands Group (ABG), Nick was the glue that held the business together and the architect of its global brand machine. Under his leadership of the team, ABG grew from a $500 million valuation into a platform generating more than $32 billion in annual retail sales worldwide.
His influence extended beyond marketing — he was instrumental in ABG’s acquisitions, partnerships, and global expansion, shaping the strategy that transformed the company into one of the most powerful brand owners on the planet. Today, as he enters the next chapter of his career, Nick has joined the ownership consortium of Salford City FC alongside David Beckham and Gary Neville, bringing the same mix of vision and operational clarity to the world of sport.
Nick’s career began at age sixteen on the retail sales floor of the Forzani Group, Canada’s largest sporting goods retailer. Starting as a part-time associate, he learned firsthand how to connect with customers, listen to their needs, and craft stories that turned products into experiences.
These formative years honed the storytelling skills and customer-centric mindset that would define his leadership style. The lessons he learned in those early days — meeting people where they are and inspiring them with a compelling narrative — became the foundation for his future success in building and scaling global brands.
That relentless drive carries through from boardroom to finish line. A lifelong competitor, Nick is a top-level cyclist and runner whose discipline and endurance mirror his approach to business: set an ambitious pace, sustain it, and finish stronger than the competition. At Regulator, his board leadership brings unmatched experience in brand building and scaling global platforms — ensuring the company’s growth is guided by someone who has already built one of the most successful consumer brand empires of our time.
